Kids Kingdom General Information

We believe that it is important for parents to be able to exercise knowing that their children are being well looked after. Our Junior Care is well equipped with toys and games for children of a wide age range.  We have a TV with DVD player as well as Playstations for the older children.

Kids Kingdom is operated as an adjunct supervised children’s’ playroom.  This means that although we are not classified as a child care centre, our playroom still operates under our own very strict guidelines.

Parents Responsibility
Kids Kingdom is offered as an additional service to persons using Fitness n Motion Family Fitness Centre, however it is offered with the expectation that the parents/guardians are fully responsible for the care of their child whilst on the premises and will be called upon should their child require anything other then basic supervision. Parents cannot leave the centre whilst their child is in the Kids Kingdom.  Children are welcome to bring food and drink into the Kids Kingdom and we ask that a change of clothes/nappies are provided for the comfort of your child.  Unless otherwise stated, where a child is wet or soiled the child will be changed by the staff. Please remember to bring disposable nappies and wipes with you.

First Visit
On your first visit you are required to complete an enrolment form. On each subsequent visit, you are required to complete the sign in register complete with your location in the gym. Signing your children out at the conclusion of each visit is mandatory.  Children are welcome from the age of 6 weeks.

Illness
If you child is unwell with an illness or infection please do not bring them to the Kids Kingdom as this may put other children at risk.  All children should be kept at home until they are well again.  For the safety of all children, Staff have the right to refuse to admit children into the Kids Kingdom if they are, or suspect they are unwell.

Child Protection
All staff members hold current Blue Cards and First Aid Certificates.  A copy of our child Protection Policy is displayed at the entrance to the Kids Kingdom. There is a telephone system in the Kids Kingdom linking directly to reception in the event of any emergency.

Evacuation Procedure
A copy of the evacuation procedure is located in the changing rooms and in the hallway by Reception. In the event of a fire alarm sounding, please do not return to the Kids Kingdom. Children will be evacuated by the staff and assembled at the allocated safety point outside the gym.
