Health Checks

Every client at Fitness n Motion receives a FREE initial health check followed by further FREE ongoing checks as part of your membership with us.

Prior to commencing an exercise program, we take a number of basic measurements that help us advise you on your exercise program and allow us to monitor your progress over the coming months.

Naturally all of these tests and measurements are optional and you can opt to have as many or as few of them as you feel comfortable with.

These measurements are all optional and include…

  • Resting Heart Rate and Blood Pressure
  • Body girth measurements of your Chest, Waist, Umbilicus, Hips, Thighs and Arms
  • A sub-maximal test of your aerobic fitness (We don't work you until you drop)
  • Weight
  • Body fat measurements
  • Flexibility and self evaluation

All measurements remain strictly confidential and are used only as an aid in prescribing exercises and assessing improvements for members.

60 Day Health Review

This consultation will be a welcome vindication and congratulation for those of you that have attended all the consultations and exercised 2 - 3 times a week on a regular basis.

We will re-do all those basic measurements that we did in your initial Health Check and see how you are progressing.

For those of you that have not been able to keep to a regular exercise routine, this consultation will be a chance to re-evaluate and re-focus on your goals.

At the conclusion of this health review, your program will be revised and updated. Once again this consultation and the updated programs are a part of your membership and are FREE.

Once you have completed your 60 day health review we will continue to reschedule health checks every 3 months so that we can monitor your progress and help you toward achieving your health and fitness goals.

All of the health checks are a part of your membership at Fitness n Motion and are FREE, unlike many fitness centres that charge for every time they talk to you
